Houghton Road Community Gardens and Mini-Golf

We have been working very hard over the summer to bring this area back into use. The whole area has been cleared and the 3 Incredible Edible raised beds have been installed and are available for community groups to use to grow produce.

We have applied for a grant from the Dearne Development Fund to make further improvements to make it easier for groups to access this great space – this will include a key safe, an equipment store and an outside water tap.

The 9 Mini-Golf holes will be completely refurbished and available for groups to use from next year – look out for publicity regarding this in our next newsletter.
