Thurnscoe Relief Fund

In response to the Coronavirus Crisis, Big Local Thurnscoe in association with Barnsley CVS are offering an Emergency Relief Fund available immediately to groups providing a service to support people in and around Thurnscoe.

The fund will come from additional money that has been released by Local Trust nationally to all Big Local areas so it will not take money directly from our community plan for this year. 

Up to £500 is available in any single application

All applications and payments will be handled by our colleagues at Barnsley CVS and approved by the Big Local Thurnscoe Partnership.

Please note that light touch monitoring will be in place so we ask that you keep copies of any receipts or invoices and take pictures if appropriate of the work you are doing.

Keep in touch; follow us on social media and post pictures / videos of what you are doing so that we can let people know what is happening. Any money unspent will need to be returned at the end of the project.
