Thurnscoe residents had the opportunity to celebrate the beginning of Christmas last Saturday with Big Local Thurnscoe’s Christmas Cracker event which took place at Thurnscoe Library from 2pm – 5pm.
Entertainment was provided by Thurnscoe Harmonic Male Voice Choir and Barnsley Metropolitan Band and children were able to write those all important letters to Santa and visit him in his magical grotto.
Bryan Bentley from Balmoral Tanks was on hand to switch on the tree lights. Big Local Thurnscoe would like to wish all volunteers and residents a very Merry Christmas and we look forward to continued success in 2019.
